Overall I found the place rather messy and one better not look in the corners for cleanliness. The mattress was so soft that it was a challenge to turn from one side to another. Noise insulation is non-existant, but I was lucky that I had some really quiet neighbours.

We booked last second for a weekend getaway to Zeeland during peak season. And though there is a reason why this hotel had one of the last remaining rooms in a 25km radius - the room standard is rather basic, and the town a bit off the beaten track for the famous beaches - the hotel invests effort in the right spots. The room and especially the bathroom were small but very clean and well maintained, the staff super-friendly, and the breakfast buffet was simple but amply stocked, very inviting - and our comfort was more important to the kitchen than the formal breakfast times!

The staff was very nice and the hotel was located in a beautiful and quiet area close to the beach. Also, the garden outside in front of the building is great.
The bed was too soft.
